This spicy hot chocolate recipe comes from one of our customers. When I made it myself and tasted how delicious it is, I just had to share it with everyone!
This hot cocoa gets its heat from the ginger and black pepper in the Golden Mellow mix. These ingredients, combined with turmeric and cinnamon.
The chocolate comes from the cacao in the Magic Mushroom mix. This mix gets its immune-strengthening benefits from both the chaga and reishi mushrooms. (Don’t worry! You can’t taste the mushrooms in this mix!)
Both mixes include ashwagandha, which has been shown to reduce stress and improve sleep — both of which are essential for a healthy immune system.
Spicy Hot Chocolate Recipe
1 mug | Vegan | Gluten-free
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp Golden Mellow mix
- 2 tsp Magic Mushroom mix
- 250ml plant-based milk
- maple syrup or coconut sugar (optional)
Directions:
- Heat the milk in a small pot.
- Turn off the heat, add the remaining ingredients and whisk until frothy.
- Transfer to a mug and enjoy.
